I stayed at the Hotell Bjorkhaga while on business for a couple days in October 2011.
The hotel is somewhere between a B&B and an Inn, with rooms in 2 buildings. My room was in the separate building fromt he lobby/bar/dining room. The staff has a limited ability to speak English, but I was able to get by just fine. They were friendly and attentive. The bar area/lobby is very nice, witha fireplace, moose antlers, comfortable couches and a TV. Dinner and breakfast in the dining room were very good, with the standard Scandanavian fare offered. The dinner menu had one option, but it was well prepared and worth having.
There is a jacuzzi off of a "relaxation" room that is very nice. It was quite cold out, and the jacuzzi is enclosed but the air is still cold. The water was a great temperature - hot enough to effectivly relax and sooth, but not so scalding that you need a break after a few minutes.
Finally.... the room. I understand that the rooms are all different sizes, but mine was tiny. It was the smallest room I have ever had anywhere. There was a desk and bed and tiny bathroom and shower. It was clean and actually cozy, but tiny! For my purposes it was fine, actually, but if I had to spend more time there I would have asked for a different room.
In different circumstances I would have rated this hotel average, but there are very few options in this area. The great lobby and jacuzzi also help elevate the rating.
