“Great location for families with young children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2010

The owner, Dimitri, and his staff were so helpful and inviting. They wanted you to enjoy your stay. The place was so clean and the breakfast provided was great. Our kids loved the pool. We also loved that is was aways from the main part of town, but close to everything in town. It really is a short walk to the beach- our 4 and 5 year old did the walk with no problems. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family and would stay here again!

“wonderful owner, charming hotel though not directly on water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2009

This was a very sweet little hotel. The owner and his mother were lovely-- always offering coffees and very friendly. I'm sure it's not the least expensive hotel on the island, but it was very clean, generally a really nice atmosphere. It isn't right on the water, but the balconies are still really nice to sit on in the evening, and the beach and bus into town are a 2 minute walk.

“Good Value - Nice Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2008

We stayed at the Dimitra in the middle of Sept. and got a good rate and a good value for our money. The hotel is located about 2 blocks from the beach. Dimitri was helpful.

The room was small average, nothing special, but the bathroom was very small and the shower was small and lacked adequate water pressure. The pool had a nice deck but was also pretty small, but that was ok as we spent all of our time at the beach or traveling Naxos.

“Terrible Experience.Dont ruin your vacation by booking there”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2008

We booked our stay in May 2008 for the 3d week of August 2008-pretty soon for Greeks as we are-. The owner said that the best price he could offer was 90 euros per night for a total stay of 7 nights. The Hotel is in a place which is surrounded by other similar hotels with no view to the sea and the buildings are really close to each other. The rooms are really small, the beds are like from the 80s as the rest of the furniture. The toilet is the smallest possible (i am referring to room #1 which is portrayed in the site). Even if it is clean, you cannot stay in this room, and the balcony is too small, facing another building not more than 10 meters opposite. This room would be fairly priced around 30 euros per night so the owner Dimitris really reaped us off. When we said that we want to leave tis room he said that we have to pay a penalty which we paid, and then he started complaining that he is finding it difficult to sell it for more than 60 euros, beacause most people that go and visit the place just don't like it, especially Greeks.(!). Finally we found a villa with sea view, and 300 mt distance from Agios Prokopios beach, with a big terrace and two rooms in separate floors that we rent with another couple for a total price of ONLY 150 euros per night (75 per couple comparing to 90 that was charged at Dimitra Hotel).
