We had stayed at this guest house whilst under previous management and it was convenient to do so again due to a family visit.
The room was clean, warm and well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities.
Although fresh milk was available it was on request and provided in an insulated flask, which in itself is not an issue and a rather nice touch if you don’t like the usual UHT milk.
A full English breakfast was provided in the breakfast room which did not have the tables and chair crammed together as in other B&B’s which was a refreshing change.
Breakfast itself was fine although the thinnest sausages in history and the smallest portion of beans raised an eyebrow but in itself did not detract from the meal itself.
The wardrobe was fine for an overnight stop although it would be a struggle for longer but then this probably says more about me then the B&B.
This is a welcoming B&B and the two ladies who run it are very warm and helpful which is always a crucial element of any visit.
We would stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend
