Allariz is a little ancient town at Galicia - Spain. It has a remarquable medieval town center thas is delightfull. A river passes througt with ancient bridges and cheerfull life of kids playing in the water. The hotel stays along an enormous garden plenty of peace.

I stayed with my husband and baby at this hotel over the weekend. We had a spa package including bed and breakfast, which was good value for the price. The facilities are quite new and stylishly decorated, our bedroom faced the river and had a spacious balcony. You can sleep peacefully at night, the place is totally quiet. We were made to feel welcome in spite of travelling with a young baby, though no cradle was available, they said it was because of the bank holiday. The spa is small but well equipped, with a pool including the usual jets and several saunas. We enjoyed a truly relaxing Niagara Bath (sort of an individual jacuzzi). The only downside was dinner: they have a lounge bar serving salads, sandwiches and omelettes. We ordered "huevos rotos" (fried eggs with chips and ham) which came out of the kitchen almost charred. After complaining, the waiter claimed that they always did them that way so as to avoid the danger of food poisoning... Apalling for a four-star hotel! Service at the reception desk was excellent; however, the spa reception was unattended when I walked in and had to fectch the friendly receptionist to usher me in, hand the towels, etc.
The relaxing atmosphere of the village and riverside is the best part.
