On the first night we arrived we were put in "Creole 1". The room had obviously seen better days, there was nowhere to store clothes, it was damp, there was a mouldy cot in the corner and the bathroom flooded when using the shower. We had to stay in this room the first night of holiday, it was not pleasant.
Once we complained however we were moved to another room which was a world apart. Well furnished and cosy with a stylish bathroom. It made the rest of our stay very enjoyable. Dinner was ok in the restaurant but there are better places to eat in Hell-bourg. Breakfast was generous enough and we never went hungry
If you are staying here make sure you are not in the Creole 1 room and you should enjoy yourself. Recommended with this one reservation.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our honeymoon. The hotel is in a very nice location and Hellbourg is a very beautiful place.
The service at the hotel is excellent, especially from the director: she not only gave me a free massage as a honeymoon gift, but on the morning we checked out, when our hired car didn't start, she also took us herself to the nearest Avis branch to get a replacement car. She was really very kind and helpful.
I also appreciated the environmental concerns the hotel displayed, from the 2 separate rubbish bins for different materials to the big bottles of toiletries in the bathroom instead of single-dose bottles - and the actual products were very good too!
True, the room was a bit cold in the evenings as there was no heating, and the reception desk was sometimes un-manned, but that didn't ruin in any way our really pleasant stay.
