My 2 daughters (15, 20), husband and I stayed here on our trip to Ecuador. We had 2 rooms on the river side and were very pleased. The rooms were spotless, comfortable. Had a fan (needed it!), TV. Wireless internet-although we didn't have our laptop with us, Guido let us use his. Nice view overlooking the river, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast is eggs, juice, bread and coffee/tea. Staff was very friendly and helpful-good english spoken. Just a few blocks away from the center of town-easy to get around, and far enough away from the noise and crowds. Very safe.For the price, I would definitely stay here again.

The Posada was a great to relax after a day of kayaking. The staff were extremely flexible with all of our gear (5 kayakers with boats and gear).

Breakfast included was a huge benefit as well...

Guido, Maria, and Clelia treated me like family. In my time in Tena I always stay at La Posada for various reasons:
1. It is clean, safe, and friendly.
2. Breakfast is included with my stay (for me that is great)
3. Wireless Internet is reliable and fast (for Ecuador)
4. Location is perfect. It is far enough from the main road to be quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere.
5. Hot water and clean rooms.
6. River front rooms are very relaxing.

Most of all, the people that work there are always so nice and make my stay perfect. In my future trips to Tena I will always stay at La Posada.

Stayed here with a friend and we loved it. It is off the main road & very quiet with large comfortable tiled rooms with television which was a luxury for the price. Laundy service was very efficient and fast. Would definitely recommend it.
