This bed and breakfast is hidden in the center of Fuerteventura in Pajara. The owner, Pilar, lives on site. She speaks fluent Spanish, French and English and has a grand personality that makes everyone feel welcomed. Her delicious and hearty breakfasts always include fresh, local fruit and fresh cheese. We were there before the season began so the bar and restaurant were not open in the evening. However, we requested dinner one night and she made a dinner for us to eat in the restaurant. The garden is a pleasant place for eating breakfast al fresco. The restaurant is nice and clean and is decorated with paintings by a local artist. The rooms are simple. At first we were stunned by the simplicity of our room: two wooden beds, night tables and lamps, a desk and chair, cable tv and a large stone & tiled bathroom. We were warm and comfortable. The inn has a library with reading material and information about the island. This provides an additional place to sit and read. The clientele were from Germany, Italy, France, Spain and me from the US. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place this is it.
