I had a room with 2 double beds and the room and bathroom was very clean, large and roomy. The pool and patio area was clean and very pleasant, I think they do not often get non Spanish speaking guests and the daytime desk person was not overly helpful, though not rude. Everyone else was friendly and patient with my meager Spanish.
I only ate at the restaurant 2x's and both times the dishes were very good and the prices reasonable. Within a block there were 3 sellers of fruit with chili and lime. That was my daily breakfast. Wonderful and only 15 pesos. On the main drag thru town there are multiple little places to get dinner very inexpensively.
I was traveling in the off season so other than 2 nights over Dia de los Muertos the place was empty but I felt safe and secure. I paid $540 pesos a night. I think they may charge more at other times. It is certainly worth what I paid.
Temixco is not much of a destination place tho it has a wonderful non tourist market with spices, chilis, meat, fruit etc within walking distance and it is next door to a large water park. You can take a Ruta for 55 centavos directly to Cuernavaca as well as to Xochicalco ruins and other little towns nearby. To get to Taxco I went into C and then back South so that was a bit of a hassle but not bad. And Taxco was very worth a full day. A wonderful hillside town.
