Had requested a 2nd floor room with a view of the mountain but were not given that on arrival. Were promptly moved to a much nicer room at far end of motel...very spacious and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool and spas with our 6-year-old traveler (who knew you could spend so much time in water?!) and the indoor pool when it was too cool outside to swim. Opted for the 5-course dinner for hubby and I which was excellent. Special mention goes to our waiter Sebastien who was possibly the most pleasant server we've ever encountered. He smiled all the time, even when he was just working at his station and not serving customers, and was very good to our daughter. ONLY drawback is that the property is showing its age...replacing the hallway carpets would be a huge improvement. Other suggestions would be to provide guests with robes without charge, to play nicer instrumental music in the dining room at suppertime (instead of the pop stuff from the radio), and to fix the outdoor clock by the spas. Thanks Esrimont for a relaxing time...already looking forward to another visit when we need a quick break!

Spent two nights in a whirlpool suite. Our stay was good, but not perfect. At $251 a night, I think it should have been nicer. Had 5 course dinner the first night was good, was going to have it the second night but same menu and we struggled to find items we liked to eat so switched to 3 course bistro dinner second night I liked better. Breakfast was a buffet both days, had all the items one would need. Eggs (3 kinds), danish, yogurt, toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, cheese, cereal

Five outdoor whirlpools, looked nice not into community bathing (used the one in our room) but the sauna was nice. Yurt (round tent) with lounge chairs was relaxing listening to the rain on the roof.

Had tandem massages, pedicure and facial in spa all good.

The flaws were the large jets in our whirlpool didn't work, the bathroom got this horrible sewer smell after the first night, and the shower was way too small. I didn't bother to complain to the desk as we were only there for two nights and didn't want repair people in the room, but I left them a comment card.

nice getaway with my boyfriend for my birthday! ... simply beautiful! and great food! I also loved the spa and heated pool.. we also played tennis! love it!

Excelent Service, Rooms and Ameanities, after 4 visits in 6 years to Canada this is one of the best 2 hotels we have stayed in. There is excellent food and drink, the spa and Sauna, tennis all free, video packages for kids etc, Golf offers at ridiculously cheap rates, Sauna etc, we will retun in 2 years. Loads to do locally - What else do you need
