Me and my partner travelled at the end of April 2012 when the hotel had first opened for the season, it was extremely quiet when we arrived, only about 30 people there (which was lovely for the first few days). We stayed for 7 nights all-inclusive as we were moved from another hotel in the area which was delayed for opening due to airport strkies around that time.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, by far the best place I have ever stayed. Plenty of sunbeds during the day so no one tried to be cheeky and reserve them early in the morning. The pool was lovely, but very cold! Everywhere was very modern and clean, there were a lot of staff around to keep the hotel in great condition. Staff were all extremely friendly and willing to help you any time of day.
Our room was lovely, huge king size bed and sheets were changed if requested. There was a large TV on the wall but only news channels (not that we minded). Bathroom was lovely, had a walk-in shower and a bath, and the hotel provided shampoos/conditioners etc. Our balcony was a good size, and we had a magnificent view of the mountains and the sea. Air conditioning and heating was good, but we found we didnt really need it at that time of year.
The food was lovely every day, if you are a fan of greek salads/cheeses etc you will be in heaven. I did find it got quite samey, as the two other restaurants within the hotel were closed so we could only use the main restaurant.
We were quite isolated within the hotel, as it was a half an hour bus journey to Corfu Old Town, but would reccomeng going there for a day trip. There was a bus you could go on for a few euros each way, it came twice a day. There were not so many activities to do, but there were a few reps around to ask if you wanted to. We went on a boat trip one of the days, there was a man at reception offering Boat hire, and we had a speedboad from 11am till 6pm for 140 euros. Definately reccomend doing so, it was fantastic.
There was very little entertainment whilst we were staying, due to the hotel only just opening, but at the last night there as a Greek themed Evening with Dancers etc, which was brilliant, so I would assume that this sort of thing would happen most nights during peak season.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday, would reccomend to couples, particularly honeymooners.
