It wasn't the apartment; that was perfectly serviceable. It wasn't the position; every bay on the north-east coast is attractive and Kalami, while not the best of them, is no exception. It was the astonishing management decision to play dodgy euro-pop and remaindered 80's music at a pretty nasty pool bar for 15 hours a day that made us flee from Frosso apartments after one night. We were looking forward to the promised peace / relaxation / sounds of nature but found instead that music, Sky TV and the football started at ten in the morning and went on until one the next morning, attracting a small crowd that chugged down lager for hours. During the day the volume made us shut the windows; the one night we were there we closed the windows but also needed to put the air-con on to drown it out.
In fairness to the management they claimed that no-one had ever had a problem with this before. I find this surprising as it was so far wide of my "peaceful nature" expectations, but maybe it was just us. They also did refund one day of the seven we had paid for in advance, which I suppose is good of them as they clearly had no idea why we might find hearing music and shouting outside our window at 1am in any way unattractive.

With regards to the comments in the above review, nothing different was promised, which was not reflected to what they really found. The Frosso complex, where they had booked to stay, is ideally located in the Kalami village surrounded by olive groves and within a relaxing environment. The pool bar and the pool area is one of the most well designed in Kalami, constructed in 2000 by wood and local stone, offering a high standard of facilities to our guests. As the bar is part of the Frosso complex and due to our respect to the guests of our accommodation, we preserve the quality in our services by keeping the music in low levels. The football games is what the most of our guests like to watch.
The place provides relaxed holidays, and the guests already know the bar's existance, as they did know in advance. If our guests hear the music and the people shouting at 1am, it would be rather difficult for us having regular customers who love to spend their holiday in Frosso apartments year after year. The meaning of peacefulness maybe varies from person to person. The pool area includes a children's paddle pool. Someone could be disturbed by the children's voices as well. These cases are isolated incidents, which are not reflecting the general situation. I also have to mention that the Frosso apartments have been awarded by tour operators in the past, as Partners in Excellence: highly Commended Self Catering Accommodation. All the rest of the reviews on Trip Advisor, prove it as well.
Samarkand999 made a complaint to our office and althougth we offered them alternative accommodation, they vacated the apartment the next day without informing us. Under no obligation but only good will, we refunded the first night to them. We are always ready to offer the quality and the reliability of our services to our guests and help them to experience a memorable holiday. I hope they eventually found the peace they were looking for.
