We stayed here in June having stayed in Kalami many times but never before here. We had a two bedroom upstairs apartment with sea view. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable for greek standards. Comfy chairs on the balcony and a sea view. The pool area is kept beautifully clean and there were lovely flowers in all the pots. They were very good in letting us keep the room on the final day as we had a late flight, organised a return taaxi transfer for us and delivered groceries to the apartment that I had requested for our arrival. The pool bar Elia were very hospitable and could not do enough for you. Enjoyed the crepes!

My only niggle of the trip was that I asked reception if they could book Agni taverna and was told they did not have the number..... I would have expected a little more help than this.

“My partner and I stayed in the Frosso Apartments in Kalami last June and really enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in one of the studio apartments which had a very big balcony and overlooked the pool. We were very impressed by the size of the room and how clean it was kept, and it was all so reasonably priced, so we would definitely recommend it to other people looking for a relaxing holiday in beautiful Kalami.

Our studio was directly above the Summer Dreams Pool Bar, but we had no problems with noise at all. For us the perfect holiday means not having to move very far or very much at all, we just want to relax. So we spent many days on the sun loungers by the pool, shading under the olive trees and dipping in and out of the water. The pool is very large and has a separate children’s area, so there was always plenty of space to swim or just bop on the ‘lilo’. We often ate lunch at the pool bar which was always very delicious and freshly made, and nothing ever seemed too much hassle for the lovely owners. They always said hello and good morning to us when we left our apartments and were very obliging throughout stay. They do play music and show sport on TV but they only play the commentary if people ask, so it really doesn’t feel intrusive. The music stops at around midnight so we were never disturbed, and even when we spent the afternoon on our balcony we didn’t feel like we were being interrupted by the bar below. In fact it was perfect for us, as after a lovely evening meal down by the beach we were able to enjoy a lovely cocktail as a nightcap before bed!

Throughout our stay the staff at the Blue Bay Travel office were really helpful and obliging. We really want to go back to Kalami soon, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. “

It wasn't the apartment; that was perfectly serviceable. It wasn't the position; every bay on the north-east coast is attractive and Kalami, while not the best of them, is no exception. It was the astonishing management decision to play dodgy euro-pop and remaindered 80's music at a pretty nasty pool bar for 15 hours a day that made us flee from Frosso apartments after one night. We were looking forward to the promised peace / relaxation / sounds of nature but found instead that music, Sky TV and the football started at ten in the morning and went on until one the next morning, attracting a small crowd that chugged down lager for hours. During the day the volume made us shut the windows; the one night we were there we closed the windows but also needed to put the air-con on to drown it out.

In fairness to the management they claimed that no-one had ever had a problem with this before. I find this surprising as it was so far wide of my "peaceful nature" expectations, but maybe it was just us. They also did refund one day of the seven we had paid for in advance, which I suppose is good of them as they clearly had no idea why we might find hearing music and shouting outside our window at 1am in any way unattractive.

On arrival at the apts you are struck by how beautiful and peaceful this place is. It seems to be untouched by tourism.
There are three tavernas and a bar which sells food.
The apartments are spacious there were 5 of us My Husband myself and 3 kids aged 12 11 and 2. We went in October which was extremely quiet great for us but maybe just a tad too quiet for the kids. The sea is literally 1 min from the apt and there are fish swimming about your feet. We hired a boat for approx 70 euros which we used to take us to other bays such as Kassiopi which was busier than our resort. The people were very friendly and fell in love with my 2 yr old son who kept them on their toes lol.
The bar was cheapest for food and done the usual quiz night karaoke and Greek night which was excellent.
Iwould not recommend this for teens or anyone looking for a banging night scene but the orange trees growing freely along with olive trees are sights I will remember always.
Kalami bay is prob the most picturesque place I have been and will return.
