We are visting Ujjain regularly. This time I was with my family and parents, so for better comfort I thought this hotel could be better, but my experience is very bad. I booked 3 Executive VIP rooms, but rooms were in worst condition. Batrooms with no ventillation and no power backup.
Behaviour of hotel staffs were also very bad. they are not cooperative.
Hospitality at restaurant was worse.
In totality I never recommend any body to stay in this hotel.

It really is impossible to find anywhere clean in Ujjain. The Surana Palace is just about OK for a night. The rooms have clean beds but they were bug-infested on our visit (cockroaches etc) the bathrooms were really dirty. Unpleasant smell in the corridors as well. The staff were friendly but spoke no English. The restaurant was good though and the food came to us piping hot.
