probably the only choice in town as other guesthouses and hotels dont want foriegn tourists, so very unfortunate we were unable to find other accommodation in this town. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms are small and dirty, bathroom a disgrace even for india! Lonely planet says free yoga in the morning, free walks and able to use the kitchen, none of this is true! Avoid if possible!

The hotel is pretty basic and in dire need of a renovation. Seems that they are still living off their reputation as a backpacker haven. The room was pricey for what I got, but it was reasonably clean.
The staff are quite helpful and the restaurant uninspiring, but cheap.

This is the better of a not great bunch in Mt Abu. its expensive for what you get especially as hot water is limited to just a few hours in the morning. (This appears to be the same through out town however).
The room is clean however and extra sheets and towel provided when requested as is a bucket of hot water if you ask for it. Some people complained about the water pressure and when there is hot water then mostly not enough to shower under.
As a budget option however I would rate it and the walking tours are good.

We stayed at Shri Ganesh and experienced Mount Abu for 2 nights. It was lovely, the hotel and needless to say, Mt. Abu. Sri Ganesh is very conveniently located and the owner is very helpful. Rented a room @700/- per night, with hot water and very beautiful window view. A very good budget option indeed.
