A group of five of us visited The Stables, arriving last Friday for two nights. We'd been given the access number for our rooms (stables) and we weren't expecting to see anyone to welcome us - which was just the case. We easily found the rooms and were pleased with the array of food that had been left for our breakfast next morning.

It's a ten-minute walk to the centre of West Malling and we thoroughly enjoyed the two evening meals we had there (one Indian and one Thai). It's an interesting town with lots of local shops and just good to explore.

It was very restful and we had one of our most comfortable night's sleep.

A gem.

I've been visiting The Stables for the last year or so while travelling on business, and think that it's excellent value for money, and exactly what I was after. It has a fridge, kettle, toaster, plates, cutley etc. and microwave in all the rooms (plus more in a couple). I find that great, after years of having to live on room service in hotels. There's a Tescos Metro 10 mins walk away in West Malling centre for food and drink. The setting is in some great Kent countryside, and you can stroll to many fab pubs and restaurants. Also free broadband.

Good value a short walk from West Malling's main street.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Modern ensuite bathrooms.
West Malling train station is a two minute walk away.
Located on rural setting, with farm animals nearby.
