This is part of my two week Henan / ShangXi tour and the hotel stay was arranged by the travel agent.
Although this was assigned a 5 star hotel by the Chinese government, I was not impressed and would.rate it as 3 star only.
Overall the lobby is nice, and the room acceptable. However, some rooms smell of smoke. Ours were bearable, but several tour mates had to request change of room. The bed is ok but the lighting arrangement made it hard to read in bed. There is free wired internet in the room and free wifi in the lobby area.
The TV is old and no English speaking news channel at all.
If there is a choice, I would try other hotel in the area.
Room Tip: Insist again and again and again for non-smoking room at check-in if you do not tolerate smoke smell...
