The hosts were very welcoming and insightful with their knowledge of the local area. From places to eat to historic sights, we were very well informed and had an excellent, memorable 3 day break. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast warm and tasty with a breath taking view of the valley on top of which the bed and breakfast resides. Strongly recommended.

We were given a warm reception and excellent hospitality over the whole weekend of ourstay at L'Abri-Cotier. The B&B is set in wonderful grounds and I could definitely get used to the view from the bedroom every morning!

We received a typical French breakfast and the hosts were very helpful in planning our days and evenings. The local area is stunning, with a fascinating history and the Sauna in the B&B was a perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the local history.

I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away.

Stayed only 2 nights before leaving for Dinan - would have liked to stay longer. The owners/managers were extremely friendly and hospitable. Rooms are very clean and cosy and it is a very nice house with a lot of character. The garden is absolutely gorgeous with ducks and ducklings in the pond, not to mention very nice swimming pool. Would highly recommend the B&B to anyone who wants to stay in Normandy, enjoy scenery in a friendly family like environment.

This b&b is located in the countryside in the Calvados region just south of Honfleur and the Norman coast. It was as a great starting point for exploring the beaches of Normandy. And It is quite a stunning spot. The house, with its many windows, patio and pool, are surrounded by gardens and provide a great view overlooking a valley. Our room was large, inviting and comfortable, even with the pull-out coach put into use. The dark and quiet of the countryside, along with the comfortable beds, ensured a good night's sleep.The breakfast of fresh pastries, buns, jams, yogourt, fruit, juice, tea and coffee, served in a common area outside our room, was tasty and well-proportioned. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. They provided many suggestions as to restaurants and attractions in the area. I would highly recommend this as a relaxing and comfortable place to holiday.
