After having driven through very sinuous bumpy roads, you arrive at this place in the hills of Tuscany and are greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Giovanna. You will immediately wonder how on earth you found such a place. It's amazing. Giovanna will go out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. The B&B is set in an ancient house, with beautifully paved floors, and idyllic surroundings. What a view!
The bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, but not en-suite, you will have to go outside. That isn't a problem at all; ours was a very large room and we had an equally large bathroom, complete with a bathtub (see the photos of our room and bathroom borrowed from Villa Sestini's site).
The garden is very nice, with much welcomed shade from cypress and peach trees, and separate areas where you can sit and read, or enjoy your meal outside. And again the view...! Cannot stress that enough - breathtaking.
Don't expect a pool like the one shown on the photo-gallery of the site, there isn't one available for guests.
One small advice: if you go in the summer, be prepared for nasty bloodsucking insects, and I don't mean just mosquitoes. Protect yourself with the most absolutely effective insect repellent you can find and use it profusely because these bugs are silent, invisible, and hungry, and they will bite you without you even noticing it. Tough it up! It's the countryside, it comes with the territory!
Thank you Giovanna for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back one day.
