Atlantic Breeze was the perfect B&B and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay on beautiful Achill Island. The owner, Mary, went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible in every way. My boyfriend and I were offered numerous cups of tea throughout our stay, bathrobes, a lift in the car and Mary even offered to dry our clothes for us after a wet walk one day. In addition to all this the bedroom and bathroom were spotless, the towels were changed each day and a powerful hot shower at the end of each day was much appreciated! The full Irish breakfast really was 'full' and was a delicious start to every morning! The rates dropped during our stay so at the end of our 3 nights Mary knocked €10 off the price we expected to pay- this really says it all about the generosity that you can expect at Atlantic Breeze!

Atlantic Breeze is a home from home. My husband, daughter and I were in Achill for the "Give it a go weekend" and we stayed with Mary in Atlantic Breeze. Our room was clean, bright and cosy. We were given time to settle in while Mary made us tea and we were served with the drinks and slices of beautiful brac in the conservatory which overlooks beautiful Keel bay. Breakfast was delicious with fruit and yoghurt to start, cereal and full Irish all served to the table. I would highly recommend Atlantic Breeze to any one exploring beautiful Achill Island.

We got a very warm welcome with yummy sweet soda bread and tea in the winter garden where there's also served the spectacular breakfast. As a vegetarian I got some specials which tasted just wonderful (thx again for that!).
At Atlantic Breeze you have the feeling to really live with the family, but you always feel very welcome with the kitchen and living room doors always open. The proprietor Mary is very helpful (we had the impression that she knows everything to do on Achill and where to have a good and affordable dinner or lunch), has always a smile on her face and makes you feel home from home.
If you get the room with the private bathroom (not ensuite): congratulations! The sea view from the room is just amazing :o)

My Bf and his parents from Germany stayed in this B& B last Sept 25th to 26th and the place is simply beautiful not to mention the view of the atlantic ocean,the cleanliness of the rooms and the hospitable Mary and Padraig Sweeney.Highly recommended!
