We stayed here for the final two weeks of September and thought the hotel was very good for the price we paid. There are lots of good reviews on here already and I read lots before deciding at the sellas so here is a little bit on each aspect of what you might be looking for.
Hotel
Room - Fairly basic, bed comfortable, draws and wardrobe big, bathroom was clean and fine although the shower was small and the water came out slightly odd it was fine and did the job. The hotel isn't that big so all rooms are close to the pool, reception etc. Not sure what the cleaning rota was but things were cleaned, towels replaced etc often enough. Also worth noting is that there is a shower room for if your flight home leaves after the 12pm check out time and they are more than happy for you to leave luggage in the reception.
You get 2 towels per person, a fridge, ash tray, balcony, kettle with cups and a knife - there isn't a safe deposit box in the room but there are ones in reception, no hair-dryers
Pool - Decent sized, lots of sunbeds with enough free ones and was in the centre of the hotel
Location - Brilliant - along a small dirt tack of 30 meters and then your right on the end of the main strip where all the bars, restaurants are and also where you can get to the main beach - location couldn't be any better as there was no noise either as you a re just set back a bit. From the airport its about 1 hour or so direct but can take longer as we were last as the bus dropped other people off at other hotels
Breakfast - Ok, cheese, ham, cereals, tea/coffee/orange, bread etc - done on a budget and fine for it but gets repetitive - the hotel (as well as the many bars and restaurants in Sidari) also offer good paid cooked breakfast options at a reduced costs which is good for a change- i think a huge full English is 3.50Euro everywhere.
Lunch - the hotel has a snack menu which is good and the food is decent enough but as the bars in Sidari are no more than 5 mins walk away they are probably a bit better
Evening meal - none of the food options were really for evening meals - go to Sidari for food
Sidari
Beach - Pretty nice sandy beach about 4/5 min walk away. It was lots of sun loungers - some free if you buy from the bars, there's various water sports options including paragliding, pedlos, boats to hire etc. Good to swim in the sea - nice and warm! There are quite a few bars which back onto the beach for food, drinks etc.
There is another beach just out of the hotel to the left next to the canel d'amour which looked nice but was quite quiet in when we were there. Also you can get the local service but to a few nearby towns which have nice beaches.
Places to eat - There are loads! Offering mostly the same of a few Greek dishes, pizzas, pastas, steaks, fish dishes. There are a couple of Chinese and Mexican places as well. All are pretty cheap from about 5 to 10 euros for your standard dishes likes pizzas etc, some places offer meals deals which are good value. Drinks are also cheap with a pint of local beer 2 euro at most places and cocktails starting at 3 euros. So many to choose from but our favourites were Capriccio on the seat front a bit further along from the main area, madisons (one of the main bars) was good but don't go late as it gets busy for the entertainment and people want to sit on the same seat as you which wasn't great, BED bar was good for meal deals. I would miss the Sea breeze - although good they seemed to make price adjustments as they pleased and unless you paid attention to the bill you paid more than you wanted - this happened 3 times to us!
Bars - Again, lots of good ones, Madisons, Sugar Lounge were good and busy with entertainment. All offer cheap drinks and most have entertainment so just have a walk along the main street and see what you fancy although the PR girls get on your nerves trying to pull you into places (after 2 weeks these people really get on your nerves), all of the bars also have TVs with English TV so you can watch football, xfactor etc if you want - if theres something you want to watch on they will put it on for you as well
Trips - Theres lots of trips available to book. The cheapest places to get them are from the agents on the main street, they are all similarly priced and we went on a few with different companies and found Valeros travel to be the best price and quality wise. Theres various trips to towns including corfu available, lots of boat trips, snorkling, scuba diving, bbqs, greek nights etc. We did a boat trip and bbq to paradise beach which was ok, corfu by night which was good and cheap and the lazy day boat cruise which was superb
Bad things - Mosqitos - bloody nightmare!
Any questions just ask!
