The bed and pillow covers had a musty smell to them, the shower drain was old and emitted an even mustier smell, and the bath towels were old and frayed. The hotel rooms are all placed on a hill which provides some great views but can be incredibly tiring to walk up and down on especially at night.

All in all, there are better hotels around the area to book a room with.

If you were looking for a nice place just out of chaweng this is the one. On arrival we were given room upgrade with a jacuzzi. The room was verh nice, as was our friends standard room (very similar only no jacuzzi). The pool was very nice and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay. We only stayed here for a few nights but is is a tuk tuk trip into te main area of Chaweng for restaurants and bars.

we arrived to ko samui and where looking for hotel...booked it onexpedia, since normal price for the room was around2600 bhta without taxes (1euro is 40 bhat), which is pricy for thailand... on expedia price was about 900 bhat less..
breakfast is nice...its not a buffet but u can choose and order more if necessary...pool is small, but clean...
in general, its nice place for couple of days...ita located on the hill, so u need to walk to the beach not less than 15 mins.. rent a scooter next door for 200 bhat a day and explore the island, beaches, buddah statue, etc...
in general OK hotel..cleaning is donedaily..even if you dont need to change the towel, they will change it..enviromental reminder on the wall regrding the towel changing does not bother them))))
once had dirty yellowish towels and thw toilet seat had weird yellow color..aparently its a style)))
asi to check the rooms before choosing..there are romantic rooms, rooms with jacuzzi and large family houses
theris 1 nice guy at the bar...very hard working..a lot of emploies r from bhirma, i guess...not many thai people...just a remark....

We stayed there first, 3 nights and at the end of the holiday, other 4 nights. The Resort is located up on a quite and green hill, not far from Chaweng center but far from the noise. From the room and the restaurant you can see the Bay. The garden and the pool are amazing. Our room was big, clean and confortable. We rented a motorbike directly on the hotel. The best thing is the staff (and the dog), always available, polite, nice and useful. They helped us in everything and we felt at home. We are planning to come back soon.
