We paid around 1000baht for a room off of expedia, this was a bit lower than the advertised rates which is probably why we had such an epic trek up many many stairs to our room! Rooms were massive, with a balcony as well. Air conditioning was fine, hot water, fridge, TV, kettle, free bottled water etc. The gardens they have their are incredible! Nice water features and loads of plants, but there is quite an abudance of noisy wildlife at night so if you're a light sleeper take some ear plugs! The pool is stunning and a really nice place to relax. Free shuttle bus in to town which will pick you up whenever you want as well, but it's only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Chaweng. The only issue I had was the staff did not seem very friendly (apart from one guy who drove the shuttle!), I've stayed in a lot cheaper places with staff who would bend over backwards for you. But all in all worth the money!

We stayed at nova samui for 1 night before leaving for Phuket. As other reviews state it's on edge of town near the lake but the free shuttle bus means its easy to get to town. Rooms are lovely with veranda overlooking pool or gardens. There was a slight mildew smell when we checked into room and maid brought an oil burner which seemed to do the trick. Unfortunately it want sunbathing weather while we were there which was a shame as the pool area looked lovely. We didn't eat in the hotel but did walk down the road and found a few local restaurants. The ice bar is also just at the end of the street. Overall hotel was very nice and staff were very pleasant.

I stayed for 6 nights and considered it an excellent value for the money. The room was clean and roomy and kept spotless by the cleaning staff. The garden area and pool was very relaxing and for me it provided a quiet alternative to the often noisy Chaweng Beach. There are really good local restaurants a short stroll away. The entire staff was very pleasant and everyone made me feel welcome at all times. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff are really helpfull and cant do enough for you, the pool area is really pleasant with nice gardens and waterfall. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and cleaned everyday. The hotel is away from the beach but there is a free shuttle service every half hour and it only takes a couple of minutes to get there. There is free parking if you want to hire a motorbike or jeep.
