This hotel has a beautiful location with a breathtaking view. We stayed for two nights over the Christmas holiday and were really only impressed by the views. We arrived two hours before check-in and we hoped they could check us in early; they said they’d let us know. When check-in time rolled around the room was “being cleaned.” Rather than checking us in early they had the room available to us an hour after check-in time. Outside the room on our patio there were food trays with the previous guest leftover uneaten food=super gross! The rooms are outdated and bathroom had a very 1960’s feel. Again the views are spectacular but not worth the price for the overall experience of the hotel itself. Also, if you are going to stay here I would advise you skip dining poolside because the food was bad and expensive (A burger is $12). There is a great place just down the beach called Father Rooster; it’s the equivalent of Red Robin. The resort would probably qualify for 4 stars twenty years ago, but it seems that he owners have let the place go.
