Setting very nice, in a small village of 500 inhabitnats and countryside all around. Very nice lake and park 100m away which was fantastic on a summer's day.
Problems at check in: we intially emailed Logis de France but didn't receive a reply from Logis for 2 days so phoned direct to the hotel and spoke to the lady owner. My wife booked over the phone and gave her credit card details. On arrival, all knowledge of the telephone booking was vehemenetly denied but luckily our name was in the reserevations book from the email to Logis!! After arriving back home, we found we had been charged for the rooms as a no-show. It transpired that the owner had put the telelphone reservation under a different name to ours, and when these fictitious people never turned up (of course they didn't even exist!) we were charged for the "no-shows"!! It wasn't very easy to convince the lady owner that this credit card belonged to us and not to some strangers! She eventually agreed to refund.
The food was excellent and very gourmet. Service also very good in the restaurant (waitress and lady owner). I would definiitely come back again for the food and location, but not so much for the front desk/reservation debacle.

We stayed twice in this nice little hotel. We really enjoyed the conversations with the somewhat crazy owner.

The food is great too!
