The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and great for walking and exercising the dogs. We have two Dalmatians and we were all very much welcomed into the hotel.
The food is excellent, well thought out, and very tasty. I was even invited into the kitchen to let the chef know how much I had enjoyed my veal dinner.

I can't recommend this place enough.

We found this hotel using the Logis book and we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The hotel is situated on a quiet road in a quiet village (although the church clock chiming at 7 o'clock in the morning for a random number of chimes was a bit strange!). Our room was fine although there was no ventilation, no windows to open so it was a bit stuffy. The restaurant was busy in a pleasant way and we had the set menu which was great value and really, really good food and a red sancerre which was quite special.

We stayed here as part of a cycling holiday booked through Inntravel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service in the restaurant was excellent, and the food very, very good. We stayed for 2 nights and would happily stayed for longer. I would strongly recommend this as a place to discover some of the Loire Valley.

We had a really fantastic meal served in the pretty dining room by Madame Danthu and her two charming helpers. The food is very imaginative and beautifully presented and the quality of the service was also outstanding. We love this part of France as it is so quiet with miles of flat sandy woodland paths making it a great place for less ambitious bicyclers and for exploring both the large well-known chateaux and the smaller charming places. We will be back!
