Very disappointing. We have stayed in chateaux before but this one needed a lot of money thrown at it. Cigarette ends everywhere, pool had no mats to rest on and pool full of flies and leaves. Weekend breakfast was fine but Monday we had to ask for food as there wasn't any and it was only 09.00.
The duplex room was a cross between MFI furniture and antique! Complained but too late by the time they wanted to move us and we were leaving never to return.

Arrived at night - chateau looked like something out of the Rocky Horror Picture Show - foreboding. Once inside warm fire in huge fireplace and petite receptionist at desk in large reception room. Stay in the chateau if possible - old world charm with modern amenities - views next morning magnificent - truly in the country with small surrounding villages. Surrounded by golf course which makes pleasant long walks possible within the grounds.
