We had a very comfortable afternoon and overnight stay here. As it was a Monday the restaurant was closed for dinner but they booked us in at a restaurant in Grignan about 6 Km away. The restaturant was Cote Patio and we had a delightful meal there. The owner was charming and we had the 30 Euro menu which had, as one of the starter choices, foie gras which was served with a foie gras creme brulee. Might sound odd but it was delicious and with a local sweet wine.
Back at the hotel we had room number 3 which for our dogs was ideal as it had a patio door onto some steps down into the grounds which were about 4 hectares and beautiful. The room had a nice bathroom and separate toilet. The only minor problem was the shower which would not stay up on its slider. Just needed a screw tightening.
Breakfast was fine but not exceptional. We will stay here again because it is so quiet and comfortable. It will be interesting next time to try the restaurant though I wouldn't mind going to Cote Patio again.
