Hereby I can confirm the comment of sep12, 2005. In addition I can add the following.

It's an average ***hotel and probably there are a lot better ***hotels if you search well. As already said with this hotel you have to take the car to go to the centre and the beach unless you like a long walk a few times a day with all your beach stuff. On the other hand is it quieter because it's outside the centre. The hotel doesn't breath any atmosphere and there is no hotel animation.

The big parking is an advantage but there are only a small amount of shadow places on it. And beleave me in the summer you really want to park your car in the shadow.

The food is very average, monotonous, fat and not suited for the healthy eater or the gastronomic eater.

With the prices which have recently increased I would really consider well before visiting this hotel.

The hotel is a fairly attractive building on what appears to be the only industrial estate in the area. It claims to be 2.2km from the beach; using multimap we believe it's more like 4km (not where the postcode plots it). It was a brisk 35 minutes walk to the nearest life; a tacky parade of shops, bars and restaurants near the sea front.

This is budget accommodation offering inclusive food packages of acceptable standard. Unfortunately the hotel had no atmosphere and no entertainment (apart from one man and his organ on a Saturday night). The hotel bar was only open during restaurant hours and unattended for the duration, closing promptly once the last diners had finished their meal (by 11pm).

The hotel pool is pleasant but very cold.

The bedrooms are quite dark, hardly any have a pleasant view, bedroom air-con was only capable of circulating warm air. Soundproofing between bedrooms was very poor (unless you are on the top floor).

I'd advise to stay elsewhere.
