“Lots of Room-Outstanding Service”

The staff of this complex is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit that was large and clean, although the decor is a bit dated. The terrace was HUGE!
Upon check in our fridge was not working properly, 20 min later when we returned from the grocery a new fridge was in its place! Amazing customer service...
The apts are quiet and the view to the sea was lovely. We walked all over the town and the town next to it, Los Gigantes. There are 3 different groceries within walking distance, so very convenient.
Maid service was included, they emptied your garbage every day and serviced the apt twice a week. They were very friendly and efficient.
We loved the area.. very scenic and lots of good hikes and an easy walk to the beach area and it was very safe.

We stayed at the complex loads of times.
The reception staff will bend over backwards to help you.
All of the apartments have a balcony, which is great for sun bathing
The rooms are really clean and large.

Wonderful relaxed complex.

Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Look for rooms in the 300 series - 318, 312 etc

“Comfortable apartments and friendly staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

My boyfriend and I stayed in El Marques Palace in late August, in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The apartment was large (too large for us) and clean, although a quite dated. As we occupied one of the apartments in the back-block, it didn't have much of a view. The front rooms might be better in this respect.

The apartment complex is quite family oriented, and the relatively small pool gets quite busy with lots of children playing in the afternoons. I wouldn't recommend it as a romantic getaway... but it is fine as a cheap place to stay.

As mentioned in many other reviews, El Marques Palace is on top of a hill, so there is definitely a steep uphill walk back from Los Gigantes or Puerto de Santiago / Playa del Arena - more of an issue in the heat of the day than in the evening. There is a fantastic steak restaurant called El Pozo 5 minutes walk from El Marques - a good choice if you don't fancy the walk up and down.

The main attraction of the apartment complex was the fantastic receoptionist. He remembered my interest in diving and made enquiries about different diving schools in the area. He also recommended restaurants, offered car hire, and generally made us feel very welcome - one of the best hotel staff members I have come across.

very clean and well maintained complex. Lots of choice locally for food, drink and entertainment. Resort staff were friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom that was clean and cpmfortable although being so close to reception did mean we were awoken too early most days. Bit of a steep walk up from the 3 resorts that are close but it didn`t spoil a really good holiday.

Room Tip: booked taxi transfer online and it would have been 15 euros cheaper if I`d booked direct through the...

“Lovely place to stay with great views, we will be back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

We had a lovely stay at El Marques Palace. We had apartment 225, 1 bed, with a huge balcony looking down to the sea and over to the Los Gigantes cliffs (if you had of the apartments in the back block you may not have such a good view). Apartment was very spacious with full kitchen, lounge with TV, DVD etc, bathroom with over bath shower and a bedroom (with slightly hard beds!). We used the AC a couple of times to cool the apartment and it was good to have this as it was warm at night. The area is lovely, quieter than playa la Americas but plenty of restaurants, bars etc with walking distance. You can get good deals on drinks and food just look for the deals. It is a down hill walk to most places and then a steep uphill walk but this was OK for us. The pool area is nice and the staff on reception couldn’t be more helpful. We did a Jet Ski trip which if you like that kind of thing is a must. This is a lovely place to stay and we would love to go back, the only complaint we would make is the bed were too hard and we would want an apartment with a view to the sea.
