Spent 1 week here in July. The hotel interior is stunning. The superior room was spacious albeit the bathroom had no natural light. The deluxe room which we moved to was fantastic and well worth paying the extra for. Breakfast was very enjoyable and relaxing - buffet style. Lunch and dinner was available - food was excellent albeit a little expensive.
The setting of the hotel in its grounds was beautiful although the gardens were not as well kept as expected.
The location of the hotel was great with easy access to the east coast and Palma. Beaches within 15 minute drive.
The quality of the bedrooms and the standard of food made this hotel very special and we will definitely return.

I write this review from a shady area next to the brilliant turquoise pool, sun shining in full force, a mango daiquiri at my side, life could not get much better!!!!

Have just spent a glorious 3 days at the hotel with 5 other girlfriends, on the recommendation of a friend. Our stay has exceeded our expectations. The staff are beyond friendly, the pool is exceptional, and the rooms are spacious and comfy - had the best night sleep in months! Not to mention happy hour every day!

I admit the hotel is probably not best suited to 6 young girls, but we hopefully acted appropriately and did not disturb too many of the other couples and families! I would definitely come back with my boyfriend, i even think its a fantastic venue for a wedding!!

We spent 2 days by the pool, which was lovely, and discovered the excellent chicken salad on the restaurant menu. Highly recommended! The hotel booked us a table at the Nassau Beach Club the 2nd night, which was excellent. Well priced, right on the beach, and great food. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant also, which was very good - the starters were huge portions, more like mains!! You will not go hungry here! Breakfast also very good.

We ventured out once to a nearby beach, but soon were yearning for the peace and quiet of the hotel pool.

Will definitely be coming back! An excellent holiday for great value!

My husband and I stayed at the Son Julia Hotel for his birthday. It was the perfect hotel for what we needed - a beautiful hotel with outstanding facilities and service. The restaurant was delicious and the pools (there are two outdoor, one indoor pool) were immaculate. There was a poolside restaurant service at one of the outdoor pools and it was delicious. All the staff were helpful and kind, always going out of the way to help and assist. On my husband's birthday we ate at the restaurant which was delicious. They even made us a complimentary birthday cake for two! The hotel is a refurbished 15 century family house. It has all the character of a beautiful spanish finca, but with modern luxuries and has been tastefully and gorgeous refurbished. We have NO complaints. We can't wait to go back.

Some reviewers said it is remote... then rent a car and go exploring. the island is small and easy to see places by car. We were looking for quiet luxury and relaxation - and that's what we got.

This is the 1st visit to this hotel and we will certainly return. It has a high standard of service with the personal touch. The hotel is very spacious and decorated to a very high standard. It's private location is remote from shops, restaurants, bars etc. Access to Palma and visits to some lovely beaches and restaurants by car is approx 20mins. It is an ideal country location to get away from it all, relax in the quite garden or large pool area one of the best I have seen, or visit other parts of the island.
