We were quite pleased with these apartments. They were nicer than expected. They have huge verandas that are shaded. The view isn't perfect but still nice. There are full sized washer/dryer in the unit- very handy (bring powder HE detergent.) There is a grocery about 5 minutes down the road. You will need to go there for drinks, food. Don't forget coffee filters! I bought some and left them in the unit we were in. The apartments are cleaned daily and towels are washed for you. Very good service! The air cond, tvs, internet all work well. The walk to the beach was longer than expected but wasn't a big deal as we rented a car all week and explored about 10 different beaches on the island (highly recommended). The price is great which makes up for the lack of amenities. We will be back!

I recently visited the “magical” island of Anguilla and stayed at the newly renovated West End Bay Apartments. After quite a bit of research and a lengthy conversation with the owner of the development (Carl) I decided to reserve a one bedroom unit. Upon arrival, Carl graciously escorted us to our third floor unit which was beautifully appointed, with imported 2’ x 2’ marble tile, Silestone kitchen counter-tops, dark wood cabinets, stylish rattan furniture in the dining/living room, patio doors leading to a private terrace (with a view of the ocean and St Maarten in the distance) and a spacious master bedroom with a massive walk-in closet. The apartment/condo had a fully equipped and nicely designed kitchen, two flat screen TV’s, free calling to anywhere in the US and Canada, free wireless internet, central air conditioning, a spacious bathroom and a brand new, full size washer/dryer. Needless to say, I immediately knew I had made the right decision and was extremely impressed by Carl’s attention to detail and “eager to please” personality. The island of Anguilla is by far the most serene, safe and exotic island in the Caribbean. The beaches are stunning, restaurants are remarkable and the locals are friendly, helpful and welcoming! If you love exotic beaches, water sports, magnificent sunsets and fabulous food, Anguilla is the place for you. If you want to stay at an attractive, well kept property for the best value on the island, then look no further and book the West End Bay Apartments! I am already searching for flights and plan to return in April.
