At this stage traveling with my boyfriend and another couple. When arrived we have checked lots of cheap places and this one was the pick in the end. It was ok and I suppose a little better than the others around this price range.
Booked in room no 1&5 for 65 000 Kip a night a room. Rooms were tidy, not cleaned every day. Shared bathrooms which were cleaned regularly and hot water. No shoes policy inside.
Breakfast was offered for 20000 Kip per person
WAshing got done across the road in Internet cafe for 10000 Kip per kg
Internet was down apparently due to rain. There is a cafe across the road on the left, pretty much two streets down that does coffees, FREE wifi and not a bad food so check it out.
If want to go bolevan plateau, go to the local tourist office and book it through them. They charred us 640000 Kip for one minivan up to 6 people and as we were 4, just had to find 2 more, which we did and the whole thing cost us $13 per head. 250km and lots of cool stops!!! Worth doing. Spent another 30000kip a head for entry fees to village, waterfalls 5000kip an entry. The trip went from 7.30-6pm. If doing it on motorbike when not raining, spend 2 days to make it worth it.
Bus to tha keth (kong lor caves) - again find out all this in the local tourist office so u do not get ripped off. Tuk tuk 10000kip per person 4 share, 65000kip bus plus 30000 Kip until the intersection. 6.30am - 4pm on the same bus, toilet stops outside and food ladies come through every now and then. Bus will drop u at the intersection and then catch a tuk tuk? 2 hours of windy road to ban na hin for 30000 Kip.
Happy traveling
