we booked these apartments from the same people as the May post. everything was fine. the apartments are ok, i would stay here again, they were clean, beds made every day with fresh towels and a general clean. lighting is a bit weird, kind of bright but dark if that makes sense, as if the bulb didnt have enough wattage! we had a room on the first floor (which was in fact the ground from the reception) which had a side view of the sea which was lovely. our room was also right next to the pool and the steps leading to the Constantinos The Great Hotel. we used their pool every day and had no problems, we had sunbeds on the beach but were situated close enough to walk to the pool and the beach depending on what we fancied! no fighting for sunbeds (although the ones by the pool always had towels!) it was great because we could sit and watch the sea but walk to the pool if we felt like it. the music from the karaoke bar up the road was a bit noisy at night but we just turned our air con on and it drowned it out!

i dont spend much time in my room on holiday we spend most of it on the beach or sightseeing so this place was perfect. just a place to lay your head at night!

The Vryssi apartments are located right on Fig Tree Bay. We booked with a firm called Golden Ticket Travel which we found on the Teletext website. I have to say we were a bit nervous as we had not come across them before, but we needn't have worried.

The reason we booked the Vryssi was because it shared all the facilities of the Five Star hotel next door (The Constantinos the Great). In fact the hotel owns the apartments.

We paid £10 each extra to have a one bedroom apartment instead of a studio and that was money well spent.

The rooms themselves are quite modern and the general facilities are good. It was nice to have air conditioning.

There are lots of bars and restaurants within easy reach and the beach is fantastic.

Although the Vryssi has its own swimming pool we spent our days either beside the fantastic five star pool or down on the beach.

It was really satisfying hearing how much people had paid to stay in The Constantino when we were getting the same facilities for so much less.

Protaras is a lovely resort and if we decide to go back it will definitely be to the Vryssi

we stayed in the vrissi in 2003 as we never had been to cyprus we didnt know wot to expect, we arrived at the vrissi apts which are quite basic but as we only slept in the apts didnt bother us to much, we had full use of the 5 star hotel just a 3 min walk away which was absolutely fantastic, entertainment every night, kids club, the pool is brilliant and just a 1 min walk from pool to the sea "WHAT MORE COULD U ASK FOR" all the restaurants had play areas for the children, we also had full use of the anastasia hotel aswell as it is part of the tsokkos group, would recommend this holiday for all, we are going back in oct 2005 will let u know any updates
