“Good location for airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Very handy for the airport if you have a stopover or early morning flight. Shuttle from airport terminal to hotel....as you leave baggage claim just look for the signs.
Rooms are quite good, our bed was huge, you could have slept 4 people in it. Breakfast was very good and provided with room. Shuttle back to the airport easy and convenient. Already booked this hotel again for our return trip.

“Expensive and Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I stayed here after my flight into Thailand and on my return.

It was the tale of two stays. The first one was pretty good and the second one was terrible.

Novotel's big draw is that there is no fixed check-in and check-out time. You have 24 hours from the time you show up. So if you show up and 7 am, you have until 7 am the next day. Show up and 1 pm, you have until 1 pm the next day, and so on.

My stay after arrival was nice. They had a fruit plate in the room for me and the room felt clean. My stay before the flight home was very different. No welcome fruit and the room was dirty. I actually checked to make sure no one was still there! The carpet was nasty and stained.

You will spend over $200 USD per night after tax and paying $15 to use the internet so the price is outrageous for Thailand. I have never eaten anything very good from the restaurant or room service so stay away from that.

Bottom line, the 24 hour stay period is nice but there are a lot of brand new places near the airport for $40 a night and that includes breakfast. So next business trip, I am staying there.

“Best option for overnight stopover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We were on route from Auckland to Siem Reap (Cambodia) but arrived too late to make a direct connection so had no choice but to stop-over at Bangkok airport overnight as we had an early flight out next morning. We had "done" Bangkok a year earlier so no desire/need to go downtown. This hotel is literally walking distance from the arrivals lounge (although they provide a free and very efficient shuttle service). The hotel is of the highest quality with everything you need whether business or holiday traveller. Highly recommended if you do not need to go too far from the airport

“Not good, not bad...”

We stayed for a night (17-18 Dec) at this hotel, but really have nothing much to say about this hotel. Staffs, foods & services were just OK. Room was tidy and average size.

Good point about this hotel is that it's located near the airport.
