For the price paid I was really expecting something basic and extremely simple. Mykonos is an expensive island after all... Filoxenia Apartments left me without words because for a very reasonable price I could sleep in a large and clean apartment in Ornos, 2 kms from Mykonos Town. Ornos is very peaceful at night and you can sleep with your window open. No noise will bother you. The entire apartment is air-conditioned and cleaned every day. Fresh clean towels are left in your room every day. The place is extremely clean. Our apartment had a large balcony where we could eat breakfast and dinner every day. The small kitchen allows you to cook your own meals, and you avoid to spend a lot of money in restaurants. There is a grocery store 5 minutes from the apartment, together with a bakery shop, a pharmacy and a fruit shop. Ornos beach is a few steps from the apartment. If you rent a scooter you can reach Mykonos town in 5 - 7 minutes or the main beaches in 15 minutes.
The owner is extremely kind and friendly. He comes to pick you up the airport for free and takes you back at the end of the holiday.
If you like a peaceful place far away from the noise of the nightlife, but still close to everything, this is the right place!
