We (two senior ladies and a younger couple) stayed here for one night in mid-Sept and it was fine. Our rooms were in the back (w/parking) and very quiet. Our twin room was small and plain but clean and had all the usual amenities (coffee/tea/snacks, hair dryer, soaps/shampoos) . . . and even a huge walk-in closet with lockable gun safe . . . we guess this is a big hunting area.

Our friends' room was the family room (last room available) and was large . . . had a double bed, a set of bunk beds, a sofa . . . and an even larger closet w/gun safe. Both rooms were clean and comfortable and had very nice showers.

The twin room was 27.50£ ($51.88) pp and the family was 30£ ($56.60) pp. The rate included the huge, typical Scottish breakfast.

Dufftown is very small and the Fife Arms in right in the center, thus convenient to everything and just 15-20 minutes away from several other small towns and in the heart of distillery country.
