What a wonderful find! We walked in off the street and were given a marvelous room with a four-poster canopied bed, sitting area and great bath facilities. The whole hotel is a charming Renaissance atmosphere, and the compact town of Osuna is a gem itself, relaxed and historic. Easy parking on the street. The hotel staff could not have been better or nicer; every question asked was answered thoroughly, and our stay seemed genuinely appreciated by the management. All in all, a luxury stay! PS--fast wi-fi in the lobby; just ask for the passcode.

Our Hotel was the Hotel Palacio Marques de la Gomera, one of the town's most famous landmarks. This palace was built for the Marques de la Gomera in 1765 by the architect Juan Antonio Blanco. It has a beautiful Baroque facade and entrance. Inside there is a big patio with a fountain in the middle. The sides of the patio are arcaded and the second story of the building has enclosed the arcade. The ceilings are coffered in wood and there is an impressive private chapel beside the patio. At the back of the building there is an open patio that is enclosed with a wall that has vines filled with flowers of several colors. The restaurant is the best in town and is where bridal festivities are held in the town. Our room was on the third floor and comfortable and had a modern bathroom.

Last March during my stay I could see three sevillian Operas at the gardens of the Hotel Palacio Marques de la Gomera, "Carmen", "Don Giovanni" & "El Barbero de Sevilla". Great Experience !!!
