in a way this is a reply to my own post of october my stay was 24th-27th dec. This hotel is well run,booking in no problem nice room balcony .went to a still open s-market 5 mins away wanted to walk into town 15 mins by this time it was 5pm noticed a number of the shops had closed (for xmas)and bars were doing likewise.Went back to hotel by which time the hotel bar had also closed when i enquired at reception about this and also restaurant was told that both would not reopen until xmas day lunch time, at this point i asked the manager to telephone several restaurants in town to see if they were opening xmas eve 4 were tried all in fact were not going to open.After some time the manager ended up sharing what was his own families meal with me and very nice to. This is not the first time on xmas eve in spain that this has happened to me so beware. I am a single traveler so was easy to sort a group of people may be different Osuna itself is a lovely town to explore churches abound narrow cobblestoned streets with quite good amenities and easy road access.
