“Absolute perfection!”

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was super clean, quiet and comfortable with a wonderful view to wake up to! We were travelling through France from our home in Italy, and elected to stay here both for the outward and return journey. The food was just divine, and although we had found a more than adquate steak house in the town, we chose to eat again in the hotel restaurant where the service and the food were impeccable.

In addition, we couldn't have asked for nicer proprietors. My husband is tri-lingual so no problem with language for him, but whenever I got stuck with my French, I was immediately responded to in English :)

We will definitely stay there again as soon as we are able! So glad to have discovered it.

“Convenient, neat little hotel with an outstanding restaurant”

I stay here often for work. If i was to come through the area for pleasure I would most surely stay here again.... The rooms are small, but nice and cozy with a complimentary hot tub for evening relaxing. The restaurant is the reason to stay here... BEST FOOD IN TOWN.It is French Haute-cuisine. Delicious every night. The staff is also incredibly frieindly.

“A Gem, great location, charming staff, gourmet food. A surprise find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

We picked this hotel as a convenient halfway stop on our way back to the UK from Italy.
It was ideal, a great surprise find. The staff from the proprietor down, were all very helpful, welcoming and efficient.. We stayed in the annex which was modern and clean, with a balcony room and great view of Mont Blanc There is a secure car park - always a benefit when travelling with a fully loaded car. The great added bonus was the food, the restaurant is obviously well used by the locals, always a good sign. We enjoyed a gourmet dinner of traditional french style fare from kitchens supervised by the owner's husband and superb fresh produce for breakfast. All very good value.
We are now thinking of returning to use this hotel as a base for a few days ski-ing.,

“Great hospitality. Wonderful food. Stunning bedroom views of Mont Blanc. Highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

We hit really lucky in finding this hotel after coming through the Mont Blanc tunnel looking for somewhere to stay for the night. From the outside it's a pretty unassuming place but the warmth of the welcome made me realise that that we had found somewhere really special. The view of Mont Blanc from the bedroom is great to wake up to and then there's the restaurant. Great, great food with a number of "amuse bouches" thrown in to tantalise the palette. It's not low cost but it's great value for money. If you're a foodie - you'll love it here. A real pity that it was a single night stay but I've no doubt that we'll be back.

“Great hospitality, beautiful location, 30-minute drive to slopes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2010

We chose to stay in Sallanches because we were skiing in Megeve. This hotel is a locally owned B&B and the owners are very charming and wonderfully hospitable. The rooms seem to be recently renovated and they were decently sized. The hotel was very quiet in March. Breakfast was the highlight- cheeses, bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt and a machine to freshly squeeze your own orange juice. The owners speak very little English but can understand the basics.
If you take the train to Sallanches, the locals haven't heard of this place. We got into a taxi, drove 3 miles, and the taxi driver tried to charge us 20 euros. If you come to this hotel, I strongly recommend renting a car (the hotel has a large parking lot). It is not close to the train/bus station and the bus ride is 30 minutes to Megeve. There are no local restaurants either. I think they offer dinner at the hotel, but the restaurant was closed in March.
