“Great place with OUTSTANDING service and food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

We stayed here for 5 nights. It is a little out of the way, so you would need a car to see the entire area. It is within 30 min or less of everything. Skiing is very close by. The restaurant is really good! The food is amazing and at a reasonable price. The wine list is good and not too overpriced. The owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. We brought our dog with us, which was no problem and later found out that the staff had taken him for some walks while we were away! How considerate is that! This place is truley a gem and I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. We hope to stay here again in the future, if at least not for the restaurant...it was SO GOOD and packed every night.

Room Tip: If you have a dog, we got a room in the new building that had doors that opened to the outside yard...

“Very charming small auberge, excellent location on the tour de Mont Blanc”

This is a very pretty, small auberge with lovely views. We stayed there while driving the classic tour de Mont Blanc from Geneva. We stayed in a small modern annex which was clean, quiet and comfortable. They are very dog friendly and there are reasonably convenient spots to walk the dogs. When in the area do not miss visiting the small church on the Plateau d'Assy, about 20 minutes drive. It is a tiny, but stunning church constructed with and displaying art from seemingly every great artist of the twentieth century, Chagal, Matisse, Legere, to name but a few.

The restaurant is not to believed! I'm writing a separate review of the restaurant because it is a worth a trip from Geneva for Sunday lunch. I think I counted 16 amuse bouche before and between courses. Of course the breakfast was just as amazing. Don't miss the fresh chevre yogurt with homemade chestnut jam.

“wonderful family restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 May 2011

We regularly eat at this restaurant whenever we are in the area on holidays. The owners are very welcoming, the food is exquisite. They really make an effort to make healthy food attractive to children - no chicken nuggets here! I would eat here every night if possible!

“Absolute perfection!”

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was super clean, quiet and comfortable with a wonderful view to wake up to! We were travelling through France from our home in Italy, and elected to stay here both for the outward and return journey. The food was just divine, and although we had found a more than adquate steak house in the town, we chose to eat again in the hotel restaurant where the service and the food were impeccable.

In addition, we couldn't have asked for nicer proprietors. My husband is tri-lingual so no problem with language for him, but whenever I got stuck with my French, I was immediately responded to in English :)

We will definitely stay there again as soon as we are able! So glad to have discovered it.

“Convenient, neat little hotel with an outstanding restaurant”

I stay here often for work. If i was to come through the area for pleasure I would most surely stay here again.... The rooms are small, but nice and cozy with a complimentary hot tub for evening relaxing. The restaurant is the reason to stay here... BEST FOOD IN TOWN.It is French Haute-cuisine. Delicious every night. The staff is also incredibly frieindly.
