Our stay at this hotel was not worth the 200euros we paid a night! Here's why -
1) although only a metro ride from downtown Barcelona, there is absolutely nothing in the area to stay for.
2) no facilities in the hotel other than a small restaurant that's only open for breakfast. The hotel has a lobby with no windows, and it's the size of a small bedroom.
3) our room, although spacious, has been poorly maintained. All the hardware in the bathroom (hooks, towel racks, faucets) were literally falling off the wall.
4) the towels, although clean, are well used and frayed, and badly in need of replacement.
5) the front desk service is spotty.
For a Eurostars property, it's a total disappointment. It does not deserve the 4* rating that it currently promotes. I'd give it a 2 1/2* and that's stretching it.
