“Average Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2011

Spent a night for transit to Hong Kong. The location wise might not as good to the central hotel as required lot of walk to the nearby touristic point. We are staying at 3rd floor. The room is not really pleasent and lack of maintanance and It is not sounds proof as you easily heard the noise at the corridor. The bedsheet isn't clean enough as smell of the cigaratte.

“5th floor is newly renovated - great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2010

The hotel is located in a side road just a few minutes walk from the Senado Square.
As walk-in guests we requested to see the room first, the Hotel Central refuses to let the guests have a look first.
They showed us a room on the 5th floor, the whole floor as well as the rooms are newly renovated one can still smell the wallpaper glue. The room and the carpet as well as the bathroom are decorated tastefully and still very clean. The bed was acceptable yet a bit hard for Westerners, Chinese like hard beds.
Room is quite big, in Hong Kong one can never find such room size for this price.
The lift is still old same as the other floors which needed renovation, we got a glimpse at the 4th floor through the elevator door when it opened there. Here the carpet and room doors are still old. Obviously these floors have not been renovated yet.
We were very glad and satisfied with our room in the 5th floor, although some Chinese guests kept banging their room doors in the middle of the night and talking very loud which was of course annoying.
But all in all our room was worth the 430MOP a night, they charged additional 70 MOP deposit for plastic card room key.
At the moment make sure you request to stay on the 5th floor if visiting the next few weeks. Later I guess the other floors will be renovated as well.

“will never return”

terrible stay, the moment i saw the sign of the hotel i know it is terrible, i notice they dont have a computer at lobby... all things recorded on hand....
the lift is old, room door has big gap and you can hear people from next door/corridor
bed is firm but i felt dusty, toilet is terrible, and the glasses are dirty.

i didnt book the hotel, it was booked by my uncle as a last minute booking for a group to attend a funeral. i just left the bags in there, and spent my night sitting at the nearby casino lobby. lucky it is only for one night
There are plenty of other choices of hotel in the similar price range. I was suprised this is on tripadvisor so I will leave a review.

If you are travelling for cleaniess, comfort, never consider this hotel

if you are on a tight budget, location wise this hotel is quite ok.

“Temperate hotel, great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 June 2010

This was my first time I came to Macau. I circulated my travelling plan by starting with Macau International Airport. I took a trip from Macau to Hongkong by water, then Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Last place to explore the culture was Macau I pass the border from Zhuhai to Macau. I got on the bus from the frontier to East Asia hotel. It's so comfortable for everyone travelling at Macau. You can go all attractive place by bus. There were bus route maps that you can pick from tourist booths.

This hotel was not far from Sanado square, the heart of Macau, taking 5 mins walk. Although it's situated in the narrow street and mysterious junction, it doesn't excess your ability to find this place. I resevrved rooms with a booking hotel site on the internet. They didn't have the internet service, but there was a internet cafe close to the hotel just walking about 2 blocks. There was some dust in a room, but it was compensated with a wide room compared with hotels in Hongkong. It fullfiled with fundamental facilities such as television and hair dryer. It had a small restaurant on the ground floor seperated from the hotel, but I haven't tried it.
