Apartments are quite lovely. views are awesome. very spacious. Unfortunately if you are directly above Charlies bar the noise is awful. The bass of the music pounds until six am. If you are not above it you can shut the noise out. Air conditioning is a must because it is absolutely boiling this time of year but you do have to pay for it. Towels changed every day and beds twice a week. Dont go to the shop underneath the apartments it is very expensive. Go up the road and visit Prop supermarket. It is so much cheaper. The pool is quite small and sunbeds get taken pretty quick. Saying that the kids made some lovely friends by the pool. Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Had a cake from the bakery for a birthday. Best cake ever. Take a meal at cafetaire solimar. Very friendly without being in your face and excellent value for money. Lovely food at The bulls head but not so cheap. Be careful at the hippy market as the shops sell the same things for a less costly price. It is very busy there so hold on tight to your bag. Beach is qutie small if you dont use a sunbed and there are loads of weeds in the sea and on the beach. Full of famillies and no hassle off the looky looky men. All in all a lovely hoilday. Teenagers had a fabulous time in Charlies bar. Popeyes bar not so bad neither.

I booked two apartments (203 & 204) for my family with ages ranging from 2 to 64. We were blown away by the views from our massive balconies. It was perfect for us as we love the beach which was again very welcoming.
Some words of warning though, there is no airconditioning so it gets very warm at night. Also because you are close to the beach you will hear from revellers on the beach, somtimes until the very small hours, finally if you are into the pool scene (we are not, so am not moaning for the sake of it) this probably isnt the hotel for you, there is no baby section and it is quite small.
That said I would come back as its got what I want....location and cleanliness.

A couple of hints, Mr Fish for the best cod and chips ever (and cheap), cheap meals at Popeyes, drink the local lager, I know my lager and the imported stuff doesn't taste as good and is also more expensive. Boat trips are good (12 euros return to Santa Ellulia, althoughthe bus is about 1.5 euros per way). Charlies accross the road is good for shows etc and Rio's if you like kareoke, quizzes and bingo (my kids do)

We got a deal on these apartments for a stay in April 2011, cost for the week was just over £200. We were given a one bed apartment, huge balcony overlooking the town. The apartments are spotless and roomy. Es Cana at that time of year is extremely quiet, so not a good place for teenagers or anyone looking for nightlife. There are lots of pensioners around. Great for us as we wanted p & q, but I was surprised that there weren't more families with children. The resort is quite small and is quiet at that time of year, we had day trips to Ibiza town and Santa Eulalia on the bus and took the Road Train (15 Euro) which got us out into the countryside which we otherwise wouldn't have seen. The pool, despite other reports here was spotless, but the hot tub was deadly and looked like it hadn't had a clean in a while, perhaps they'll get it up and running for the season. The only niggle was the lack of an oven, I guess many people will eat out a lot and make do as we did but having a young child we catered for ourselves a lot rather than eating out and this limited what we could cook. If we went again, we'd take a portable dvd player and a few movies, only Spanish Television and as we were in in the evenings that might have been something nice to do after our toddler went to bed.

had a great time here at a v reasonable price.we booked thro travel republic and total cost for the week with flitghts and car park at stanstead was only 315 pounds.weather was good,we had 2 over cast days but sunshine the rest.apartment was clean and had everything we required except plz remember to take a hair dryer and a travel iron as these items are not included.could not of wished for a better location,perfect for couples and familys with small childern but i think teenagers weould be bored after a few days as its not really a party place! nice pool but we preferd the beach as we allways do .theres a hot tub by the pool which i can only describe as a pea soup hell tub!!! disgusting and i hope they clean it before the season kicks off as it looks like a health hazzard!! apache bar serves up pink raw burgers but rest of places we ate at were excellent.bulls head and the pretty tiled italian resurant opposite it are worth a visit.hippy makets worth a visit but not reaaly that cheap as markets go.all in all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay
