This hotel is dirty.
My room when i got there had dirty floors,cigarette buts under my bed. The bathroom area was dirty. No fan in the room and the tv has no english channels on it. The windows were filthy. I was so unhappy there. The hotel is run for the locals with little input to the paying guests. One local man who is there everyday spends most of his time making cat crying noises which is so annoying. The staff on booking in were just not helpful almost to the point of rude. I understand there is some language barriesr but if your running a hotel that excepts all nationalities then they should make more of an effort. If i was gonna rate this by stars id give it 1. And thats only for the location. The room being the way it was i couldnt even face eating breakfast there and had to go elsewhere. Very much let down and would not go there again or recommend it.

our hotel was basic but suited us as we were on a budget ..had sea view from balcony..staff friendly even had pet names for us which was amusing!!!...the location was superb..beach was perfect..shops..bars etc all close..we wod definately return..lovely relaxing break.

Drove from airport; SATNAV took me straight to hotel - easy to find (1 hour)
David the barkeeper/receptionist is helpful and a great chap - OK he speaks little English but so what - we can always speak Spanish! Met other guests and we all enjoyed it - BUT it is not a high star rating so don't expect five star luxury. Small Bedroom is adequate, my bathroom too small to get dressed in but you just dress in the bedroom obviously, if you want to dress at all of course! The doors do creak but there are more things to worry about in life! Great corner balcony with LOVELY SEA VIEW. Morning breakfast is, well, it'll do, that's if they remember to put out cutlery and stuff!!
Oh, do spend time in the bar with the locals mixing it with guests and David making up weird cocktails for free! Remember - trying a little Spanish language goes a long way!!!

Cleaner than I expected, having read reviews before I left, but I looked on it as a place to sleep. Off the main strip so not disturbed by the music from the 3,4 and 5 star hotels. The sea on the rocks infront of the hotel were the only sound I heard. The beach 150yds down the road is clean, the sea is crystal clear. The hotel is a meeting place for the locals to have a game of boules and play cards. Decor is outdated. Towels changed twice in my 6 night stay, room swept and floor mopped every day. No fridge as advertised, which would have beed good to keep my bottled water cool. No air con, but left the balcony door open, pulled the voile curtain across and room was cool. Faulty Towers restaurant down the road is fab, his fish and chips on Friday brilliant. The Red Lion and the little Welsh bar also serve good food. Would I go again? Yes, If I can get a cheap deal.
