The staff were very helpful, the food was magnificent, some of the best in any hotel I have visited. The location was great for relaxing out of the crowds but it was 3Km from the shops. It took about 35 minutes to walk in but there was a new pavement, courtesy of 1 million euros EU money. The taxi was 5 euros which was the minimum fare. There was a very good Greek restaurant no more than ten minutes walk, Opos Palia, with Greek food not international cuisine.
There were a few little bays close to the hotel with pebble beaches but 20 minutes away was the start of a four mile sandy beach fronting the village. Petrol was very expensive, about £1.55 per litre and cars were £50 per day hire !!!
