I stayed at Tropical Breeze for two weeks, and it was perfect from start to finish. My room was clean, quiet and private with patio doors that opened to the pool area. I spent many hours by the pool in the company of various birds (a pair of parrots!), butterflies and tiny lizards. The view of the ocean and the surrounding eco-garden were calming and relaxing.
I snorkelled several times a day right across the road, and can assure that the reef there is healthy and vibrant. In two weeks I became well acquainted with an eagle ray, a sting ray, several porcupine puffer fish, large angelfish, squid, an eel and several spiny lobsters, plus hundreds of other fish. The water was clear and warm and a short walk through the turtle grass (no water shoes necessary) led to some of the best snorkelling on Cayman. The pictures included were all taken in the waters at TB.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything to make your own meals, and good restaurants are a short drive away. TB is located on a quiet part of the main road around the island and away from the noise and congestion of Georgetown. A 20-minute drive gets you to Rum Point, a lovely place to spend the day, and because of its central location, Tropical Breeze is not more than 30 minutes drive from any of the sites.
Lisa and Marcia were attentive and conscientious, and provided everything to make a perfect holiday. I travelled on my own, and felt safe and comfortable at all times, in the water and out. Tropical Breeze was perfect for me as a solo traveller, but would also be ideal for a gathering of several family members.
I have made Cayman my choice of islands for holidaying, and will definitely be back to Tropical Breeze. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

My husband, daughter and I--all divers--spent four nights at Tropical Breezes at the end of January, 2007. The cottage we stayed in was better than described, because between our booking and actual arrival, a second bedroom and bathroom had been added! That gave our daughter terrific privacy and all of us some very well- appointed and maintained common space. We liked being out of the hubbub of 7 mile beach, yet didn't feel overly put out to drive there for diving or beaching. (We could have gone closer, but wanted to dive with a company located on 7 mile beach.) The beach across from the B and B was small and somewhat rocky--but for sitting out on a beach chair or snorkeling from, it was fine.

We had more than everything we needed on the Tropical Breezes property: a modest pool for a dip or sunbathing, a barbeque grill,
a lovely water view, some great snorkeling, and a relaxing, low key environment. Lisa was easy to work with and very clear about the property and contracting arrangements. We'd go again, and have recommended Tropical Breezes to others.

My stay at the Tropical Breeze was more than I expected. MY room was beautiful and I walked right out to thepool area. Marcia, our housekeeper, quickly became a friend with her wit and care. How beautiful it was to go into your room at night and see your bed turned down with a beautiful tropical flower.
The view was spectacular.The water was so amazing that a snorkling experience was a part of every day. You didn't need to go very far to see beautiful blue tangs as big as dinner plates!
Though hurrican Ivan left his"remains" on the shore, exploring was facinating in understanding the incredible power of the weather and the sea.
I discovered so many varietiy of flowers ans the beautiful birds of the island were so close you could almost touch them.
One of the best features is that you were away from the busy port as cruise ships arrived almost daily and made for a crowded envirement.
The food on the island was excellent and tropical Breeze not only provided a refrigerator in your room but a full kitchen so that you could enjoy your leftovers another time as well as treats in a room basket.
I even fulfilled m one of my life's dreams by swimming with the sting rays. It was a nice feeling that at the end of the day you felt like you were coming home.
If you enjoy peace and solitude in a beautiful enviroment then I would suggest that you look into staying at the Tropical Breeze.

My wife and found Tropical Breeze because we wanted to extend our stay in Cayman by a night, and they had good reviews and availability.

We found Tropical Breeze to be a great place. It is a wonderful place to be in order to explore the quieter side of Cayman, well away from the 'big resort' feel of 7 mile beach.

The property is well maintained and clean and the staff is great. The small private beach is very nice, but you do need to cross the road to get to it. No big deal.

For a quiet, casual stay, this is the place for you!
