We stayed here on a whim after deciding to take a detour into Italy on a recent road trip and was pleasantly surprised!

My partner hated the trip up the mountain (I loved it) to the hotel but it was well worth the visit, we managed to get the last room in the hotel and found that it had a Spa inc Sauna, Steam room and pool etc which were excellent and most welcome after the long trip we had that day!

The evening meal and breakfast were included in the price we paid and was a 2 choice set menu affair with the food quality and service being very good. It was almost like travelling back into a time when service was a standard you could expect and had a very 60s feel to the place in a nice way.

The room was fine with a great balcony with fanatic views, the bathroom on the other hand was very cramped with me in particular banging bits of my body on various parts of the room/shower, but not a huge issue.

Breakfast was excellent with a pretty decent choice and the nice attention to detail were evident with personalised name signs on the table to show you which was yours, a nice touch!

We would certainly stay here again and well worth the visit.
