Although we enjoy swimming at the sea of Halkidiki, our children aged 10 and 9 always ask for "a different activity", meaning going for swimming at a pool. Many well known hotels in Halkidiki do not allow entry to the pool area for visitors, however this cosy hotel is a very nice exception to the above mentioned rule. We calles at the reception to confirm our visit, and we were very politely invited to spent our afternoon at the hotel's premises. The pool area provides a very nice view to the sea and the surrounding landscape (including a golf area), thw service is warm and makes you welcome, the pool is convenient to children and the pool bar at reasonable prices.

Although we heard about this hotel by chance, we will definetely visit is again!

This is a great hotel. I stayed in three different places in Neos Marmaras and this was by far the best. It is a friendly family run hotel with a lovely pool and great views. It is reasonably priced (by comparison to other places in the area), comfortable and clean. The staff are always willing to help. You will probably need a car to get to the sea otherwise it is a bit of a walk. I'll definately stay here again should I return.

The Hotel's biggest assets are its owners ( very helpful ) and the Panoramic location, which provides excellent views of the surrounding area. The hotel is located right behind the Porto Carras resort, and consequently provides no direct access to the beach, only a swimming pool ( not a significant drawback though, provided you have a car. There are numerous outstanding beaches in Sithonia worth a visit. No reason to get pinned down to a particular spot ).

The rooms are a mixed bag. Some are very spacious, but either lacking in view or facing the forest hill behind the hotel. Others, the older ones, provide excellent views towards the sea, but are smaller inside ( the bathrooms in particular are tiny ). We are not quite sure whether there are rooms combining both advantages ( large space and great views ), but we definitelly spoted one that lacked either. The rooms are very clean.

Breakfast is an average affair in terms of variety and quality, scoring points only on account of the very pleasant garden where it is served. The hotel provides a restaurant with room service throughout the day. Service was efficient and stuff quite pleasant.

We found the Kelyfos whilst travelling around Halkidiki and had a wonderful three day stay there. Stavros and Agla, the owners, plus the friendly staff, make sure that you have everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel location is superb, on top of a hill, looking down towards the huge hotels and golf course of Porto Carras. The swimming pool has a similar view, with a shady dining area nearby. Our room was a large suite in 3 year old buildings to the side of the main hotel, large comfortable bed, huge bathroom and two terrace areas. All this at an excellent price. Food was very good, the house wine a vintage of the owner, is also recommended.
