Stayed for a week with husband and 2 year old daughter. First family holiday and we could not of asked for a more perfect holiday. Room was immaculate,gardens and pool area beautiful and ALL staff were incredibly helpful,polite and friendly. They really treated our little girl with such affection and kindness. Fabulous holiday in a really beautiful and peaceful setting.

Yes, I cannot believe it, we had a week at the Achtis in June and liked it so much went back again in September, and it was just as fantastic. WE LOVE  GREECE had our main holiday was  in Corfu this year,so would say we are quite expert on the country, I also travel regularly on business to the region .This time it was a very special occasion for my wife and I, we booked a junior suite on the first floor and it was a loverly size and spotlessly clean, there was as bottle of sparking wine waiting, complimentary from the owner on the hotel, they were aware that it was a special occasion but it was still a real surprise. If you want a quite week away from it all and don't want to travel far, this IS the place to go. This time we booked independently, was not much cheaper but we booked a hire car for the week, it's a very easy drive from Thessolonika Airport, takes no more than 45 minutes to and hour basically a straight road. I have to say that there is not a lot to do in the region but that's not why we came back, we wanted just to chill out and that's so easy here. The staff know you by name and CANNOT do enough to make your stay memorable. The hotel is on the edge of the village of Afitos and to be quite frank and having driven around the area this is by far the prettiest and most scenic village on the whole of this side of the peninsula. There are loads of really good restaurants we did not have one bad meal and we are very  fussy about our choice of restaurants. It is quite possible to eat in a different restaurant each night even if you were staying here two weeks. Oh and we have booked to go back again in the Spring early June, it's fantastic then the village is in full bloom and so pretty. Try it fora chill out week you WILL NOT  be disappointed.

We stayed here in June and we liked it so much that we decided to do our wedding there.
My husband is Greek so we are going to have a Greek wedding,i look forward for this.

Im sure the hotel will make our day even more special.

The owners are really very friendly and helpfull,they make us feel like we are part of the family.
The staff always smile and work soo hard to make sure that we enjoy ourselves.
They know the names from everyone,i dont know how they do this but makes you feel very special.
Elizabeth is the first one that you see in the morning,what a wonderfull girl.
She is doing the breakfast and she always was there if we need anything.
The lady the cookes is doing the best food that we ever tried,try the moussaka,fresh and homemade food all.
The ladies that was cleaning our room was great.
Kristina and Helena thank you for making us laugh so much and for all the cocktails.
At the hotel there is a pond,so reallaxing to watch the fishes,something that you dont find very often.
This hotel is the best that i have ever stayed.
Just paradise!!!!!

Another great visit to the Achtis - Magda, Achileas and their lovely staff gave us a fantastic welcome and took very good care of us during our week's stay. Weather for October was far warmer than expected: were able to lounge by the pool each day and sit outside in the bar after dinner late into the evening We were in one of the ground floor rooms so had easy access for the pool, bar and dinning. Very comfortable and spacious - the heavy curtains meant we slept late each morning and just made it in time for breakfast, but the girls were very patient in letting us take our time. I'm sure this will not be our last visit nor for the lovely people we met and had such fun with on the Greek Night. If you want to have a chill-out break, this is the place to have it. Cocktails are optional of course.
