I have passed this hotel many times over the years having a house nearby but never needed to stay. However this year I did have a need and I was pleasatly surprised. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable and reasonably sized. Furnishings were modest but adequate. Free wifi access in the room was appreciated. the restaurant is also perfectly good and the best around for some distance. Front desk service was a little gruff but acceptable. Waiters and waitresses were charming.
